TOP-NOTCH construction company Datem Inc. recently opened its satellite office in Cebu Business Park in Cebu City.
Datem Inc. Business Development Management Division head Laurence Espiritu said the new satellite office would strengthen Datem Inc.'s regional presence and reach more businesses and individuals in the construction industry.
"Like any other project, it started with a vision to expand our footprint in Cebu and support the growing market set by the new developments and infrastructure projects," Espiritu said.
The ceremonial unveiling was graced by select members of Datem Inc.'s Management Committee and
Datem Inc. President Lesley Villanueva along with Datem Inc. and Datem Water employees.
"As we inaugurate this office, we begin a new chapter for both Datem and Datem Water, facilitating growth across the country through our expertise in construction and potable water supply services," Espiritu added.
A stalwart in the construction industry, Datem was an internationally recognized contractor, tapped by reputable developers and industry players to build structural wonders such as Discovery Primea, Menarco Tower, MDC 100, Venice Grand Canal Mall and Grand Hyatt Manila Residences, to name a few.
Currently, the contractor has been working with Cebu Landmasters Inc., a premier developer in the Visayas and Mindanao, for the construction of the luxury boutique hotel, Abaca Resort Mactan.
The 125-room all-suite Abaca Resort Mactan in Punta Engano, Lapu-Lapu City would offer a sky villa concept with panoramic ocean views of the Cebu province.
Apart from construction, Datem also ventured into bulk water supply services in Cebu and Aklan through its subsidiary, Datem Water.
Leveraging on the construction expertise of Datem Inc. and using the latest technology in water filtration, Datem Water provided clients in the municipal, commercial and industrial sectors with water services such as bulk water supply, septage management and water distribution solutions.
The Bogo Water Treatment Plant, one of Datem Water's plants in Cebu, provided at least 5,000 cubic meters per day of potable water to customers in the Bogo Water District.
