Region 6 barefoot runners win golds in Palaro

CEBU CITY— The barefoot runners of Region 6 (Western Visayas) have emerged victorious as Princess Mae Lachica and Josa Bensurto clinched gold medals in their respective events in athletics at the Palarong Pambansa here at the Cebu City Sports Complex.

Lachica and Bensurto have captivated the crowd here by not only winning the race but also by running without footware.
