Some 900 disadvantaged youth, which includes poor students, out-of-school youth, and dependents of displaced or would-be displaced workers, are expected to benefit as the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) and Jollibee Foods Corporation (JFC) sign a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) strengthening implementation of the Special Program for Employment of Students (SPES) on July 4, 2024, at the DoLE Central Office in Intramuros, Manila. Present at the MoA signing are (seated from left) JFC Philippines Human Resources Director Gerard Joseph Juliano, JFC Philippines Chief Human Resources Officer Ruth Angeles, DoLE Secretary Bienvenido Laguesma, and DoLE Undersecretary for Employment and Human Resource Development Cluster Carmela Torres.
