CEBU CITY — Motivated by her mother's dream of competing in Palarong Pambansa, a 17-year-old runner from Lapu-Lapu bagged this year's first gold medal at the Cebu City Sports Complex.
Asia Paraase, an incoming grade 12 student of Pajo National High School, kicked off the gold medal haul for the host region on Thursday by topping the the 3000-meter run.
