SOME 52 former rebels from Northern Negros on Monday indicated serious reconciliation and peaceful collaboration to the government as they avail of amnesty programs in Bacolod province, a ranking military officer said Monday.

Lt. Gen. Fernando Reyes, commander of the Visayas Command (Viscom), said the 52 rebels who yielded to the government vowed to cooperate with the government's plan and program toward lasting peace and progress.
