IN a survey conducted from March 11 to 14, OCTA Research found that 76 percent of respondents viewed China as the greatest threat to the Philippines. The survey also revealed that nine out of every 10 Filipinos did not trust China. In another survey conducted in the third quarter of 2023 by Oculum Research and Analytics, China was trusted by only 20 percent, which is the lowest, and was not trusted by 51 percent, which is the highest, among 14 countries included in the survey.
The US was the most trusted country by Filipinos.
