The Navotas City government has teamed up with the Department of Science and Technology (DoST) and Technological University of the Philippines (TUP) for the deployment of aqua trash collector bots (Aquabot) in the city's waterways.
"The deployment of the Aquabot represents a concrete step toward cleaner waterways. I urge every Navoteño to support this initiative and take an active role in keeping our city clean and sustainable," Mayor John Rey Tiangco said on Thursday.
