Grandmasters Rogelio Antonio Jr. and Darwin Laylo as well as Grandmaster-elect Daniel Quizon got off to blazing start by winning their first two matches in the 2nd Gov. Henry Oaminal Open Chess Tournament at AYA Hotel and Residences in Clarin, Misamis Occidental on Tuesday.

Antonio defeated Gilbert Baba and Alger Palanas, Laylo subdued Richard Cenas and Drigo Teves and Quizon trounced Edgardo Bariquit and Carlo Saludsod to share the lead with 24 other unbeaten chess players.
