CEBU CITY — Sen. Imee Marcos has called for the suspension of the Philippine offshore gaming operators (POGOs) following the discovery of anomalies, including the trafficking of foreign nationals.
Marcos said in a press conference in Mandaue City on Monday that she does not oppose gambling, acknowledging its revenue generation and contribution to the Philippine economy. However, she emphasized the necessity of suspending POGOs due to current issues.
