Among the first of its kind, the Canon Imaging Academy is a structured learning program, aimed at supporting and upskilling local photographers of all skill levels. The workshops cover various topics — from photography and videography to printing and exclusive training sessions with industry experts and Canon ambassadors called the 'Canon Crusaders of Light' and 'Canon Professional Shooters.'
Earlier this year, Canon Marketing Philippines held a Penagbenga Festival Photowalk and Photo Contest with Jijo de Guzman, a filmmaking workshop with director Zig Dulay and a Geek + Pop Cosplay Photography Workshop with Jay Tablante.
The workshops are also an opportunity for Filipino photographers and videographers to meet other creatives and try Canon's wide range of EOS R full-frame cameras and RF lenses, which are renowned for their intelligent technology and adaptability to shooting various occasions.
