(UPDATE) EARLY P1 billion in penalties and fines has been collected from erring motorists in the first half of 2024, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) said Tuesday.
LTO said they collected P986.5 million in penalties and fines for traffic violations from January 1 to June 30 with a total of 330,073 motorists apprehended nationwide under LTO's campaign to intensify road safety through road courtesy and discipline.
