THE nearly 3,000 residents troubled by the sudden flood caused by a damaged navigational gate of the Malabon-Navotas River continue to receive all forms of assistance from the local government, Malabon City Mayor Jeannie Sandoval said on Tuesday.

Most of the flood-hit residents were still at the evacuation centers in the affected villages of Flores and Hulong Duhat, where they were visited by the mayor, who distributed food packs and medicines, City Administrator Alexander "Alex" Rosete told The Manila Times (TMT) via Viber.
