MOL's methanol-fueled tanker launched in Japan

MITSUI O.S.K. Lines (MOL) announced its subsidiary, MOL Coastal Shipping, held a naming and launching ceremony recently for a new methanol-fueled coastal tanker, the Daiichi Meta Maru.

This vessel is the first of its kind in Japan and will be used to transport methanol cargo for Mitsubishi Corp.
