IT is easy to understand why the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) would be triggered by Leonardo DiCaprio's open support for the Masungi Geopark Project (MGP) and the Masungi Georeserve Foundation Inc. (MGFI), which is dedicated to managing it.
What is hard to tolerate is for the DENR to openly misrepresent facts and even commit the egregious mistake of grossly mischaracterizing a conservation site as a resort.
