MANILA, Philippines — At least 67 percent of Filipinos favor raising excise taxes on alcoholic products to curb consumption, according to a survey.

In a press conference by the Sin Tax Coalition on Tuesday, it urged the government to increase taxes on alcohol to address the escalating economic and health impacts of alcohol consumption in the country.
