The lunacy of some laws

THIS country has many laws that are either outdated, illogical, or simply not in accordance with basic human interests.

One case in particular was an incident a week ago where a truck driver was quietly cruising along the slow lane (rightmost lane) of an expressway when a fast-moving big bike, in an attempt to overtake another vehicle in the middle lane, speedily swerved to the right lane but tragically slammed into the back of the truck.
