PH cinema wins big at the 7th Eddys

"Mallari," "Gomburza" and "About Us But Not About Us" were not the only big winners at the 7th edition of The Entertainment Editors' Choice or The Eddys on Sunday night. With the Ceremonial Hall of Marriott's Grand Ballroom brimming with actors, directors and other film industry stakeholders all celebrating what is considered the biggest year for local movies since the pandemic, Philippine cinema was definitely the biggest champion of the night.

The Piolo Pascual-led Mallari won five recognitions, including Best Actor Award for Pascual while Gomburza won two awards including Best Supporting Actor for Enchong Dee.
