Paolo Duterte and Davao City Mayor Sebastian Duterte, have all decided to run for the 24-member Senate in the 2025 elections. They seem confident of dominating the race.

Should they push through and succeed, they would drastically alter the nation's political landscape and the terms of engagement between them and Marcos.
