MANILA, Philippines — Gilas Pilipinas' Olympic dream came crashing down after suffering a 71-60 beating at the hands of Brazil in their FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament crossover semifinals on Saturday at the Arena Riga in Latvia.
The Philippines got off to a flying start, leading by as many as 11 points, and led, 33-27 by halftime.
