China urges PH to take 'right path' toward regional peace

MANILA, Philippines — CHINA called upon the Philippines to immediately heed the voices of countries in the region and to veer away from the 'wrong path' soonest to ensure peace and stability.

Beijing's call came after reports that the US Army was shipping out war equipment -- including the land-based Mid-Range Capability (MRC) missile system, known as 'Typhon' – which was brought into the Philippines for the annual Balikatan military exercises.
