Tinawon festival in Batad keeps Ifugao culture, rice terraces alive

BANAUE, Ifugao — As part of their commitment to preserve their famous rice terraces, farmers and villagers took part in a rice harvest festival in Batad village here from June 27-29.

The Tinawon Festival was also graced by local and international tourists.
