MANILA, Philippines — La Nina, the cool phase, will occur most likely during the last quarter of this year, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) announced on Thursday.

Pagasa administrator Nathaniel Servando told The Manila Times that the phenomenon would likely have a 50 percent chance of developing from September to November.
