NINE days after arriving in Metz and 21 days before the opening ceremony, the Filipino athletes on their final preparations for Paris are making full use of the privilege no Team Philippines has ever experienced ahead of an Olympic participation.
"You can feel it in their eyes and you can see it in their actions," said Philippine Olympic Committee President Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino on Monday night, referring to the enthusiasm and high spirits the eight of the 20 Paris Olympics-bound athletes have been showing at training camp.
