Sabalenka pulls out of Wimbledon due to shoulder injury
Third seed Aryna Sabalenka withdrew from Wimbledon on Monday, July 1, 2024 due to a shoulder injury, organizers announced. She was replaced by lucky loser Erika Andreeva in her match against Emina Bektas. Sabalenka, who also battled a lower back injury and illness this year, sustained the shoulder injury at the Berlin Open last month.
