LIKE New York Times columnist Thomas Friedman, I watched the Biden-Trump debate alone. The disastrous debate made the three-time Pulitzer Prizewinner weep. I could not finish it. I was depressed. It was a very disappointing turn of events.
Because of Biden's poor performance, Friedman had suggested that the Biden family and political team have the hardest conversation with the president and withdraw from the race by releasing his delegates for the Democratic National Convention.
