2 to 3 storms forecast in July — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Two to three tropical cyclones may form or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this July, the state-run weather agency said on Tuesday.

Administrator Nathaniel Servando of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) also told The Manila Times via Viber that there may be 13 to 16 tropical cyclones until end of the year. Typhoon 'Aghon' was the first to hit the country in late May.
