SCPW, SM Prime cap 4th Wetland Center Design Competition

THE Society for the Conservation of Philippine Wetlands (SCPW), in partnership with one of the leading integrated property developers in Southeast Asia, SM Prime Holdings Inc. (SM Prime), successfully concluded the 4th Wetland Center Design Competition, an architecture student design competition.

Held with the International Day for Biological Diversity 2024, the competition focused on creating a sustainable Wetland Center Complex for the Macabebe Mangrove and Coastal Site in Barangay Consuelo, Macabebe, Pampanga.

MALAYSIA, PHILIPPINES CELEBRATE 60 YEARS OF DIPLOMATIC TIES The Malaysian Embassy in Manila, in partnership with Digital Pilipinas and GeiserMaclang, marks the 60th anniversary of Malaysia-Philippines relations with a celebration focused on technology and innovation. The event saw participation from representatives of the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre, Malaysia International Halal Showcase, National ICT Confederation of the Philippines, Maybank, and Citihomes. Key discussions revolved around collaboration in trade fairs, conferences and workforce upskilling. Success stories in sustainable development and ICT were also highlighted. Both nations reaffirmed their commitment to fostering a robust digital ecosystem within Asean. The conference concluded with a shared vision of establishing Asean as a global innovation hub through cooperation in technology and human capital development.
