DENR probes alleged wildlife consumption in food fest

TUGUEGARAO CITY — The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Region 2 has strongly condemned the alleged consumption of wildlife during the 'Exotic Food Fest 2024' in Cagayan province.

In a statement, DENR Region 2 Executive Director Gwendolyn Bambalan reacted to posts circulating on social media showing exotic foods during the 441st Aggao Nac Cagayan, a monthlong celebration in Cagayan province in June.
