TWO public universities will now be able to proceed with their medical programs after the Commission on Higher Education (CHEd) approved the application for government authority to operate the Doctor of Medicine programs of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU) and the Bulacan State University (BulSu) beginning this academic year 2024-2025.

DMMMSU will be the third State University and College (SUC) to offer the medicine program in the Ilocos Region, while BulSu will be the first state university to offer medical education in Central Luzon.
