LINDA Ty-Casper is one of the most underrated but best fiction writers in the Philippines. A resident of the United States, she finished her law degree at UP Diliman and has written short stories and historical novels in the last half century.

Fortunately for us, Exploding Galaxies has just reissued Ty-Casper's "The Three-Cornered Sun," which was first published by New Day in 1979. The new edition has a preface from the writer and a foreword by the historian and columnist Manuel L. Quezon III.
