LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — To motivate job order (JO) and contract of service (CoS) workers to perform better, Gov. Ramon Guico III announced on Thursday that the provincial government will shoulder the payment of their Philippine Health Insurance Corp. (PhilHealth) premiums instead of deducting the amount from their monthly salary.
Guico made the announcement shortly after he signed a memorandum of agreement with PhilHealth for the inclusion of the provincial government's 2,415 JO and CoS workers in the agency's Group Enrolment Program.
