HERMOSA, Bataan — The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) announced on Tuesday the energization of Hermosa-San Jose del Monte in Bulacan with a 500-kilovolt (kV) transmission line at its full capacity of 8,000 megawatts (MW) on Sunday.
The line is part of the Mariveles-Hermosa-San Jose 500-kV facility that will accommodate an additional 2,200MW of supply from new power plants in Bataan and Zambales to the rest of the Luzon grid.
