THE Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) announced on Thursday that it has completed the first phase of a long-span bridge project in the town of Tagudin, Ilocos Sur.

In his report to DPWH Secretary Manuel Bonoan and Undersecretary Eugenio Pipo Jr., DPWH Regional Office 1 Director Ronnel Tan said the first phase of the construction of the 245.9-meter Ambalayat Bridge, which crosses through the Amburayan River connecting Barangay Ambalayat and Barangay Pallogan, is already finished.
