Western Visayas farmers get 17K hectares of land

ILOILO CITY — A total of 17,999 agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) in Western Visayas were given Certificates of Land Ownership Award (CLOA) since President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. took office in 2022.

The Department of Agrarian Reform Western Visayas (DA-6) said the CLOAs distributed covers a total of 16,764 hectares (ha) of land, with Negros Occidental receiving the largest share at 11,037 ha.
