LPA spotted off Zamboanga del Norte

MANILA, Philippines — A low pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Zamboanga del Norte and was embedded along the inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the state-run weather agency said on Thursday.

Weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said the weather disturbance was estimated some 45 kilometers east-northeast of Dipolog City, also in the province.
