Eala takes first win in Wimbledon qualifiers

MANILA, Philippines - Filipina tennis ace Alex Eala took her first win in the qualifiers of the Wimbledon tournament on Tuesday.

In the first qualifying match, she defeated France's Jessika Ponchet in two sets, 7-6, 6-4.
