MANILA, Philippines — inter-tropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will bring rain in Mindanao while Luzon and Visayas will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Wednesday.

Weather specialist Robert Badrina said that the ITCZ - the imaginary line where winds from the northern and southern hemispheres meet – is particularly affecting Caraga and Davao Region where overcast skies and scattered downpours are likely.
