House to probe alleged violation of WPS fishers' rights

MANILA, Philippines — A committee at the House of Representatives will look into the alleged violation of the rights of fishermen of Bataan, Pangasinan, and Zambales who depend on the West Philippine Sea (WPS).

During the continuation of the committee's investigation into the drug war deaths, Manila 6th District Rep. Bienvenido Abante Jr. read a letter bringing the fishermen's problem to the committee's attention.
