OTG celebrates Seafarers' Day, focuses on training, safety

OCEAN Technologies Group (OTG) joined the rest of the global maritime industry in celebrating the International Day of the Seafarer, with a focus on training and seafarer empowerment in response to the International Maritime Organization's (IMO) campaign for safety at sea.

OTG said that more than the standard shipboard safety trainings, seafarers and ships benefit more from non-technical skills such as leadership and communication, as they play an important part in safety culture.
