MANILA, Philippines — Former PBA star Alex Cabagnot and Filipino-American guard Rashawn McCarthy noted the size and overall talent of Gilas as some of the positives during the national squad's 74-64 win over the Taiwan Mustangs in their friendly game on Monday night at the Philsports Arena.
Cabagnot and McCarthy were on the opposing end though, being the main guards for the Mustangs, who gave a good fight against Gilas despite playing without former NBA stars Dwight Howard and DeMarcus Cousins, as well as ex-Golden State Warriors sharpshooter Quinn Cook.
