GLOBAL brandy and whisky conglomerate Emperador Inc. of the Andrew Tan-led Alliance Global Group Inc. said Monday that it was allocating P6.5 billion for capital expenditures (capex) this year, down P500 million from last year.
Most of the amount will be allocated for its whiskey business with the Dalmore distillery in Scotland to receive bulk of the funds to double its production capacity, the company said in a stock exchange filing.
