CAMP S.K. PENDATUN, Maguindanao del Sur — Police authorities have launched a manhunt for the companions of a Lanao del Sur village chairman who died during a firearms buy-bust on Saturday.
The village official, identified as Billy Jack Ogca, chairman of Barangay Poblacion in Balabagan town, Lanao del Sur province, was fatally injured after he traded shots with the law enforcement officers during the 1 p.m. operation.
