"It's more on sa execution po, especially on the floor; the landings and the ones in the air. I really focus on landings this time," Yulo said, acknowledging the challenge that came with performing twists and sticking solid landings.

Yulo exuded the confidence of an athlete with great support behind him as he openly answered each question thrown his way. Part of this confidence has been attributed to the partnership he has with ArenaPlus as one of the brand's newest ambassadors.

Thanking the brand, he said in Filipino, "Thank you very much for recognizing me and wanting to support me. I will do everything that I can to give back and thank you for your support, and let's pray for the athletes participating in the Olympics."

Joining Yulo on stage were the president of the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines, Cynthia Carrion, and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. Carrion shared her hope for Yulo, saying, "I hope and pray that Carlos wins a medal for the Philippines! "

Despite the distance, Marcial managed to join the press conference from Las Vegas through a Zoom call. The boxing athlete welcomed each of the questions that came his way, especially the ones that put a spotlight on his preparations for the Olympics.

Marcial said that his preparations for the Paris Olympics began as far back as nearly 4 years ago, giving him the confidence to believe in his ability to bring home a gold medal. At the moment, he was training with his team in Vegas, including the previous mentor of the United States team, Kay Koroma, who trained athletes for the Rio and Tokyo Olympics.

"Every day, we studied all of our possible opponents in the Olympics," Marcial said, noting that he and his team were balancing between the mental and physical aspects of training, especially since he had more access to resources and sparring partners.

Marcial gave a heartfelt message to the ArenaPlus community: "To my ArenaPlus family, first of all, I want to thank you for the trust you have given us, especially to me," Marcial said. "Being an ambassador gave us inspiration because it shows there are people who believe that we could get gold in the Olympics."

Concluding the event, the brand launched its newest television commercial material with ArenaPlus Olympic ambassadors, Yulo and Marcial, together with ArenaPlus endorser Scottie Thompson, which was set to air soon.

This moment was what ArenaPlus drew inspiration from to pursue its mission to make sports fun and entertaining. The brand was in its best form to make the Paris Olympics 2024 memorable not only for the competing athletes but also for the fans and supporters, who are rooting for them to bring pride for the country, keeping the fire burning toward "Ginto para sa Astig na Atleta" (gold for the cool athletes).
