ALLBANK (A Thrift Bank) Inc. (AllBank) and MPay launched a partnership to further streamline the digital payments in the country through the use of QR PH.

AllBank President and Executive Director Jesus Vicente Garcia and MPay Chief Executive Officer Tom Lin sealed the partnership with a memorandum of agreement signing, held at the AllBank head office in Mandaluyong City.

With the interoperability of QR PH, MPay would be able to send and receive payments in near real time from various banks and electronic wallets.

Garcia said: "This partnership marks another accomplishment [for] AllBank in achieving our goal in enhancing the digital payment landscape for a cash-light environment in the country. AllBank's mission is to boost digital payments, especially QR PH, and we believe that a partner [such as] MPay will play a pivotal role in achieving this mission."

For the MPay's part, Lin said: "This partnership represents a significant milestone for MPay Philippines Inc. as we work [toward] revolutionizing the digital payment landscape in the country. Collaborating with AllBank allows us to further our vision and mission through commitment to enhancing financial inclusion and delivering seamless, secure payment solutions to our users. Together, we aim to drive the adoption of digital payments and create a more efficient, cash-light economy."
