OVER 300 accountancy teachers took part in the 31st Annual Accounting Conference, which was held at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in España, Manila, and hosted by the National Association of CPAs in Education (Nacpae) on June 13 to 15.

This year's theme, "Beyond Licensure Examination for CPAs: Redefining the Roles of Accounting Teachers in Sustaining the Accounting Profession," had speakers discussing issues on accounting education, including artificial intelligence (AI) and its sustainability.
