CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — With seven deaths and 1,172 admissions recorded from the month of January to June of this year, the Provincial Health Office here has alerted the residents on the spread of dengue with the onset of the rainy season.

Provincial Health Officer Dr. Cielo Ante, in a message to The Manila Times, said that although the numbers are lower compared to the previous years, they are still reminding the people to practice the 4S (Search and destroy, Secure self-protection, Support fogging and spraying, and Seek early consultation) habit to fight dengue.
