Lessons from my stock investing journey

REFLECTING on my experience in stock investing, I can say it has been a rewarding journey. Over the past six years, my portfolio has grown by around 30 percent, averaging an annual return of 5 percent. This performance is commendable, especially considering the inflation rate has been below 5 percent in recent years.

However, I acknowledge that part of my success was due to timing; I entered the market during a bullish phase. Through my years of investing, I've learned several valuable lessons that I wish to share with aspiring investors.
