BALANCING work and studies is no easy feat, but it provides a unique opportunity to develop essential leadership skills. Working students often juggle multiple responsibilities, making them adept at time management and multitasking. However, to excel both academically and professionally, it's crucial to cultivate confidence, take initiative, and hone effective decision-making skills.

I recently gave a talk about "Leadership for Working Students," discussing how working students can harness these skills to become successful leaders. My talk was part of the Step Up Sessions series of Mapua Malayan Digital College (MMDC) and Globe (using their Hangouts platform). Sharing leadership insights with the youth is an advocacy I am passionate about as an executive program leader at the Maxwell Leadership Certified Team.
