Canada strikes again, sweeps Germany in VNL

(UPDATE) DISPLAYING such power and tenacity, Canada booked its second straight triumph after dismantling Germany, 25-19, 25-18, 25-21, on Thursday in the 2024 Men's Volleyball Nations League (VNL) Week 3 at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

The Canadians, after beating fan-favorite Japan, 25-21, 20-25, 25-15, 20-25, 15-10, in last Tuesday's opener, were too much at all fronts outscoring the Germans in attacks, 46-31, and blocks, 8-3, to improve their win-loss record to 6-4 that strengthened their campaign in the final eight.
