MANILA, Philippines — The country can expect fair weather throughout the day although some areas may experience isolated rain showers due to the southwest monsoon or "habagat," the state-run weather agency said on Friday.
Weather specialist Daniel James Villamil of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said habagat would continue to prevail in the entire archipelago in the coming days.
